Water Tower is the twenty-first episode of the first season of That '70s Show.

The guys paint a pot leaf on the town water tower. Kelso falls off and breaks his arm and Jackie attempts to make Kelso believe this was Hyde's fault. Eric is traumatized from seeing his parents having sex, which makes them think he is on drugs.

Guest Star Edit

  • This is one of the very first times Red threatens a "foot in the ass" to one of the characters.
  • Running Gags: Eric continues to imagine his parents naked; characters referencing the pot leaf on the water tower looks like someone giving the finger.
  • At the beginning of the episode, Jackie is wearing a T-shirt with a picture of herself on the front; this type of t-shirt with iron-on pictures were quite popular in the 70s, although most people did not wear one with a picture of themself on it. However, Jackie is conceited and quite self-absorbed, making it so it isn't far-fetched she would have had the idea.

Goofs Edit

Kitty Tube Top

Kitty's Nude Tube Top (Noticeable At The Bottom Of The Snapshot)

  • When Eric and his family are eating breakfeast and he starts imagining Red and Kitty naked, you can see that Debra Jo Rupp (Kitty) is wearing a tube top, and is not actually naked.

  • A Place in the Sun (1977) by Pablo Cruise;
  • Tell Me Something Good (1974) by Rufus & Chaka Kahn;
  • The Things We Do For Love (1977) by 10CC;
  • The End (1967) by The Doors.
