References for what Laurie's 'tail' was? Under the trivia, someone wrote: "Laurie was born with a tail (a reference meaning she was born a guy), but her "tail" was cut off, so she became a girl" - Is there a reference from the show's producers or writers that says this? If it didn't come from someone who worked on the show, why was the assumption made? Rarely, but it does happen, humans have been born with slight, mostly cosmetic, deformities with a short, tail-like things protruding from around the top of thier butt or base of spine. This sort of thing also fits with Hyde saying the tail meant Kelso really did sleep with the devil, as the devil is typically depicted with a tail. Humans born with genitalia of both sexes does happen also, but the genitalia wouldn't be on the backside so why would it be called a tail? If there is some reference from someone who wrote or directed or something on the show when they made the joke, I'll shut up, but it should be linked in the article. i agree, can someone change that because, on the show the joke was kelso slept with the devil, cuz she was born with a tail. girls can be born with tails, so it didnt mean she was a man. its just a reference that she is so devilish, that she was born with a tail.
