Led Zeppelin is a hard rock band from England. They started in the 60s and became very popular in the 1970s. The band consists of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham. They mixed hard rock with blues, folk and eastern influences to create a totally unique sound.
Through out the show there are many references to the band. For example, all of the episodes from season 5 are named after Led Zeppelin songs - such as Black Dog,Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Whole Lotta Love.
As well as this, characters such as Hyde and Donna are shown to be big fans of the band. Hyde is often shown wearing t-shirts of the band and he even gives his favorite one to Jackie in Whole Lotta Love for her birthday. He mentions Led Zeppelin many times and even states that he doesn't love people - but he loves camaros, Zeppelin and french fries. Donna gets angry at Jackie in No Quarter when Jackie tries to replace Donna's Led Zeppelin poster.
