Celebration Day is the finale and 25th episode of Season 5 on FOX comedy That '70s Show.

PlotEdit

The gang go camping the night before their high school graduation.This is presumed to be Fez's last day in America because he is graduating. Jackie decides to let Hyde and Kelso fight it out over her, to see who she'll choose in the end.  As they sit around the campfire, Kelso sings a song about how much better he is than Hyde. Only to be known a little later that he stole it from American Pie. Eric,Donna, and Laurie decide to go skinny dipping but they all leave at different times. When Eric looks for Donna he sees his sister Laurie naked instead. When Fez, looks for Laurie he finds Donna naked instead. Back in Point Place, Kitty is all drugged up from some medication the doctor has given her to be calm about Eric moving to Madison with Donna. She wanders around and ends up in Bob's closet.

The gang minus Fez and Laurie sit around a campfire discussing various things like Eric seeing his sister naked. Then it is revealed that Jackie is getting her kicks off of watching Kelso and Hyde fight over her. They make her chose and she runs off without giving an answer. Fez and Laurie are shown in Kelso's van right after having sex and Fez feels incredible. The next morning, is graduation day and the gang has to scramble to get ready to graduate. Only that they realize that the van is no longer where it was parked. Back at the Forman residence the parents are upset about how the kids didn't show up to their graduation. Kitty decides not to take her pills anymore but talk to Red when she is upset. The kids arrive and Kitty orders them to come back to their house around 5:00 sharp to take graduation picture.

While Donna and Eric are packing, Jackie needs help picking between Kelso and Hyde. They tell her to pick Hyde but she says that she needs Hyde but Kelso needs her. Eric tells her to pick who she loves the most. The kids show up in their caps and gowns for Kitty's picture and everyone comes to say goodbye to Donna and Eric. Jackie tells Kelso and Hyde that the person she loves the most is herself and she decides she needs some distance. The kids take their pictures. Fez and Laurie come back only to tell everyone that they are married so that Fez can stay in the country. At this point, Red suffers a heart attack. In the end, Hyde, Fez, and Kelso are shown by a body of water. Fez is sending a letter to his parents by putting a message in a bottle.

TriviaEdit

  • This is the last episode to feature Lisa Robin Kelly in the role of Laurie Forman. The next time was Laurie was seen again is in season 6 with the role being played by Christina Moore.
  • This episode was originally aired as a "longer than standard" episode, which means that they show more episode footage and less commercials, and this episode originally aired at 27 minutes. (even though the DVD/Blu-ray versions have the episode edited down to 22 minutes)
  • Fez and Laurie have sex.
  • Laurie marries Fez so he can stay in the States.
  • Red has a heart attack.
  • At the end of the episode Fez sends a message to his family in a bottle saying that he is staying in the US and that people have landed on the moon
